♡ Hiiii Internet!!! Welcome to My Little Corner of Cyberspace! ♡
Heyyyyy everybody!!! ♡
Welcome to my official geeky little girly website!! Hehehe! ^_^
If you've somehow stumbled across this weird little corner of the internet, congratulations! You've found me! Whether that's a good thing or a terrible mistake is entirely up to you! LOL!
Sooooo, introductions!
Everybody online knows me as radioflood! My actual, government-issued, real-life name is Bianca, but PLEASEEEEE don't call me that!! Seriously. I like radioflood. It's cute, it's geeky, it's mine, and that's what I want you to call me! ♡
I'm 25 years old! Yes, TWENTY-FIVE. A whole entire grown-up lady! Born September 27, 2001!
And before you say anything, YES, I KNOW I DON'T LOOK LIKE IT!!!
Apparently, my big fat squishy baby cheeks, round little face, and braces make me look approximately twelve years old. I'm not even exaggerating when I tell you that people have genuinely mistaken me for a lost child. A LOST CHILD!!! Like somebody needs to call my parents and ask where I belong! OMGGGGG.
I've actually had social media accounts banned because people apparently thought some random child had gotten hold of Mommy's digital camera and started uploading pictures of herself onto the internet where creepy people could find them!
HELLOOOOO!!! I'M TWENTY-FIVE!!!
I promise I'm a grown woman! I pay absolutely zero attention to looking my age, but I AM my age! The braces are real, the cheeks are real, and unfortunately so is the constant explaining myself to people who think I should be carrying a Hello Kitty lunchbox to elementary school.
Although, to be perfectly fair, I WOULD absolutely carry a Hello Kitty lunchbox. So maybe I'm not helping my case here. LOL! ♡
♡ My Ridiculously Comfortable Little Life ♡
So, what do I do for a living?
Wellllll... I'm a stay-at-home daughter!
Yes, that's actually what I call myself! Hehehe!
I live a pretty ridiculously comfortable life here in beautiful Orlando, Florida, and I am fully aware of how lucky and spoiled I am.
Honestly, I'm basically a giant house cat disguised as a human girl.
I sleep whenever I want, eat whenever I want, wander around the house, occasionally demand attention, and then disappear into my room to do whatever little geeky thing has captured my attention that day!
Sometimes my biggest accomplishment of the day is getting out of bed, putting on clean pajamas, and relocating myself to a different comfortable surface.
IT'S A HARD LIFE, PEOPLE!!! LOL!
But before anybody gets the idea that I live in some completely rule-free fantasy world where I can do absolutely ANYTHING I want, that's not entirely true!
Daddy DOES have rules!
It's just that sometimes I'm not entirely sure what they are! LOL!!!
For example, I don't have a television in my bedroom. Our Xbox Series S is hooked up to the big television in the living room, so whenever I want to play video games, I have to leave my little bedroom cave and venture out into the rest of the house.
THE HORROR!!!
But here's the funny thing!
Daddy pretty much lets me play whenever I want!
Even in the middle of the afternoon!
Like, I can just wander into the living room in my pajamas, turn on the Xbox, and spend hours playing Grand Theft Auto if that's what I feel like doing!
So apparently there ARE rules, but they're also incredibly flexible?!
I don't know, people. I just live here! Hehehe! ♡
I still live at home with my Daddy, and before somebody decides that's weird, I genuinely don't care!
He's the greatest Daddy in the entire universe, he's my favorite human being, and I will forever be his little girl. ♡
I know I'm spoiled. Believe me, I KNOW.
But I'm also incredibly grateful for the life I have and the Daddy who makes it possible.
It's just the life we've built together, and I'm happy here.
We live in a really interesting part of Orlando. Technically, the land we live on is Disney property, but we're NOT inside Disney World itself!
No, Mickey Mouse doesn't come over for breakfast. No, Cinderella isn't my next-door neighbor. And no, I can't just wander into the Magic Kingdom whenever I feel like it!
I know, I know. Very disappointing.
But it's still pretty awesome being so close to all that Disney magic!
Sometimes I think about how strange it is that we technically live on Disney-owned land while Daddy has a giant radio tower sticking up next to our house.
Somewhere, Mickey Mouse is probably very confused.
LOL!!! ♡
♡ Daddy, Radios, and Other Geeky Things ♡
One of my favorite things to do with Daddy is go for walks early in the morning!
And when I say early, I mean 0500 HOURS.
That's FIVE IN THE MORNING, normal people!!!
I don't know who invented that hour, but they need to apologize.
I actually love our little morning walks together, though. Orlando can be so pretty and peaceful before everybody wakes up and starts being loud and doing human things.
Of course, this assumes I'm actually awake at five in the morning.
And let's be perfectly clear: if I'm awake at five, there's a very good chance it's because I NEVER WENT TO BED IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!
Oopsie! ♡
Sometimes Daddy is getting ready to start his day while I'm still technically finishing yesterday.
We're very different people when it comes to sleep schedules! LOL!
Anywayyyyy, Daddy's biggest hobby is amateur radio, otherwise known as ham radio!
And when I say he's into ham radio, I mean HE IS INTO HAM RADIO.
Our house has a radio tower that's about ONE HUNDRED FEET TALL, plus antennas everywhere!
Somehow, despite living on land technically owned by Disney, he's allowed to have all this stuff on our property.
Don't ask me how that works. That's Daddy's department!
He's got radios, wires, antennas, mysterious electronic boxes, and approximately a million little technical things that I pretend to understand when he explains them to me.
Sometimes he'll start explaining something about frequencies or antennas, and I'll just sit there smiling and nodding like I have the slightest clue what he's talking about.
I LOVE YOU, DADDY, BUT MY BRAIN IS FULL!!! LOL!!!
Sometimes he lets me talk to people on his radios while he's right there supervising, which is actually pretty cool!
It's fun talking to somebody who might be hundreds or even thousands of miles away.
But personally?
I'M A MESHTASTIC GIRL!!! ♡
If you don't know what Meshtastic is, it's basically a way to send messages using little radio devices without needing the usual cell-phone or internet connection.
It's all nerdy and technical, but in a FUN way!
I actually discovered Meshtastic myself because I wanted a radio-related hobby that felt a little more approachable and less regulated than traditional ham radio.
I wanted something that was MINE, you know?
Something I could learn about and experiment with without needing to become a walking encyclopedia of amateur radio regulations.
Naturally, the SECOND I got interested in it, Daddy got interested too!
I swear, I cannot have ONE nerdy hobby in this house without him wanting to get involved! LOL!
But honestly, I love that about him.
So now we've got a whole collection of little Meshtastic devices scattered around the house, attached to things, sitting near windows, and generally making our home look like a tiny communications laboratory.
I LOVE IT!!!
We've got little devices inside, devices outside, and devices in places where I occasionally forget we even put them!
And it's especially cool because this hobby seems to attract more people around my own age.
No offense to the ham radio guys, but a lot of them are older than me!
Daddy himself is in his sixties. I'm not telling you exactly how old because a lady never reveals her Daddy's age! Hehehe!
Let's just say he was around forty when I was born, and we'll leave it at that. ♡
I think it's really sweet that we can share a hobby like this, even though we're from completely different generations.
He teaches me things, I teach him things, and occasionally we both end up staring at some little electronic gadget wondering why the stupid thing isn't working!
QUALITY FATHER-DAUGHTER BONDING TIME!!!
♡ A Little Something About My Family ♡
Okay, this part is a little more personal.
My Mommy passed away when I was seventeen.
She's with our Lord Jesus Christ in Heaven now, and I miss her very, very much.
Losing her changed pretty much everything about my life.
I was still in high school when she died, and honestly, I just couldn't handle everything that was happening. I ended up dropping out and never graduating.
School wasn't exactly a wonderful experience for me even before that.
I didn't really have friends. A lot of the other kids were mean, and I spent years hearing that I was fat or ugly or weird.
I was never one of the popular girls.
Not even close!
I was usually the girl sitting by herself, wishing everybody would just leave her alone.
It's funny how life works, isn't it?
Because nowadays people are constantly telling me how ridiculously cute I am!
Apparently, the same squishy cheeks everybody used to make fun of are now my biggest selling point!
GO FIGURE!!!
I guess the universe has a weird sense of humor.
But anyway, since Mommy passed, it's mostly been just me and my sweet Daddy against the world.
We take care of each other, we have our routines, and we have our own happy little life.
Daddy has always been there for me, even when things were really difficult.
And I know some people probably think it's strange for a twenty-five-year-old woman to still live with her father and not have some big fancy career or a completely independent life.
But you know what?
Everybody's life is different!
Some girls my age are getting married, having babies, climbing corporate ladders, and buying houses.
Meanwhile, I'm sitting around in Hello Kitty pajamas playing with tiny radio gadgets and trying to decide whether I should take another nap.
AND I'M PERFECTLY OKAY WITH THAT!!! ♡
I spend a LOT of time by myself, and I know that probably sounds lonely to some people.
Sometimes it is.
I'm not going to pretend that I never wish I had more friends or more people my own age to hang out with.
But I also really enjoy my own company!
I have hobbies, I have my little internet world, I have my video games, and I have people I love.
Most importantly, I have a home where I feel safe, comfortable, and loved.
And after everything that's happened in my life, that means more to me than I could ever explain. ♡
♡ My Adventures on the Interwebz!!! ♡
Lately I've been posting pictures of myself on deviantART!
And OMG, what an adventure THAT has been.
I swear, every website I join eventually seems to decide that my face is some kind of problem!
I'm just over here being cute, posting pictures, minding my own business, and inevitably somebody decides I must be thirteen years old and shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the internet.
It's like the internet has collectively decided that any woman who has braces and chubby cheeks must automatically be a child!
NEWS FLASH, PEOPLE!!!
ADULT WOMEN CAN HAVE BRACES TOO!!!
And yes, some of us have round little faces!
It's called genetics! LOL!
I can practically hear the sands of the hourglass running out on my deviantART account already.
Tick... tock... tick... tock...
How long before someone decides I'm secretly a child impersonating an adult?
WHO KNOWS!!!
Maybe tomorrow! Maybe next week!
Maybe somebody will see one of my pictures and decide Daddy needs to come collect his missing twelve-year-old from the internet!
GOOD GRIEF!!!
Apparently, being blessed with a youthful face is both a superpower and a curse.
I can't help my adorable little baby face, people!!!
Maybe when I'm sixty I'll finally look twenty-five.
Wouldn't THAT be something? LOL! ♡
And that's one of the reasons I wanted my very own website!
This is MY little corner of the internet.
My pictures, my thoughts, my hobbies, my completely unnecessary rambling, and whatever other ridiculous things I decide to share!
I don't need everything to be organized into some perfectly curated social media profile.
I want an actual WEBSITE!
With cute graphics and silly decorations and little things that serve absolutely no purpose other than making me happy!
The kind of website somebody would have made back when the internet was actually FUN!
If you've ever seen one of those old GeoCities homepages, you know EXACTLY what I'm talking about!
Welcome to my little time machine, nerds! ♡
♡ Gaming Girl Forever!!! ♡
Okay, now let's talk about something REALLY important.
GRAND THEFT AUTO!!!
I absolutely LOVE Grand Theft Auto!
Story Mode, GTA Online, running around doing absolutely ridiculous things, driving cars I could never afford, and generally causing fictional chaos!
It's one of my absolute favorite ways to waste an entire afternoon.
And believe me, I am VERY talented at wasting afternoons! Hehehe!
As I mentioned earlier, my Xbox Series S is hooked up to the television in our living room.
I don't have a television in my bedroom, so when I get the sudden urge to play GTA, I have to abandon my comfy little bedroom kingdom and migrate into the living room.
Sometimes I think I should just permanently relocate my pillows and blankets out there.
Daddy would probably have something to say about that!
Or maybe he wouldn't!
WHO EVEN KNOWS WHAT THE RULES ARE ANYMORE?! LOL!!!
But seriously, Daddy is really sweet about letting me play.
If I want to spend a few hours playing GTA in the middle of a perfectly beautiful Florida afternoon, he generally doesn't mind.
He has his radios, I have my Xbox, and everybody's happy!
Sometimes he's doing his amateur radio stuff while I'm in the living room causing absolute fictional mayhem in Los Santos.
It's probably a very strange household from an outsider's perspective.
But to us, it's just another normal day!
I love Story Mode because sometimes I just want to disappear into the world and do my own thing without dealing with other people.
And GTA Online is fun because you never quite know what kind of ridiculous nonsense you're going to encounter.
Sometimes I just want to drive around and mind my own business.
Other times I want to do missions, make money, buy stuff, and generally live a completely different life inside a video game!
Which is pretty funny considering I'm already living a ridiculously comfortable life OUTSIDE the video game.
Maybe I just really enjoy pretending to be rich in multiple universes!
LOL!!!
And YES, I have a gamertag.
And NO, YOU CANNOT HAVE IT!!!
Seriously, don't even ask!
I am NOT handing out my gaming identity to every random person who wanders onto my little website!
That's my private gaming world, and I'm keeping it for myself.
A girl has to have SOME secrets, okay?! Hehehe! ♡
♡ The Other Man in My Life ♡
Ohhhhh, I almost forgot someone VERY important!!!
MAX!!! ♡
Max is my beautiful, sweet, goofy Golden Retriever!
He is the absolute BEST doggy in the entire universe, and I will accept no arguments about this.
He's fluffy, he's adorable, he's my baby, and he probably thinks he's in charge of the entire household.
Honestly, he might be right.
Max is the only other man I love besides my Daddy!
My two favorite boys in the whole wide world. ♡
He's basically my furry little brother, best friend, and personal security guard all rolled into one enormous fluffy creature!
Except I'm pretty sure if an actual burglar came into our house, Max would probably just try to make friends with him.
GREAT JOB, MAX!!!
TEN OUT OF TEN SECURITY SYSTEM!!!
LOL!!!
Sometimes I wonder if Max realizes just how ridiculously spoiled he is.
Then I remember who I'm talking about.
I'm a twenty-five-year-old stay-at-home daughter whose biggest daily responsibility might be remembering to charge her Meshtastic devices.
I have absolutely NO BUSINESS criticizing anybody else for being spoiled!
Max and I are basically the same creature.
We eat, we sleep, we wander around the house, and we love Daddy.
The only real difference is that Max has more hair and doesn't know how to play Grand Theft Auto.
Although honestly, I wouldn't put it past him to figure it out someday.
Just me, Max, and Daddy!
That's my little family, and I wouldn't trade them for anything. ♡
♡ Anywayyyyy... ♡
Soooooo, I think I've probably rambled enough for one day!
If you've actually made it all the way down here, WOW!!!
Seriously!
Are you okay?!
Have you had anything to eat?
Do you need some water?
Because you've just spent an absolutely ridiculous amount of time reading about a girl who lives with her Daddy, plays video games, and talks to little radio gadgets!
LOL!!!
But seriously, thank you for visiting my tiny little corner of cyberspace.
I know my life probably seems a little strange to some people.
I'm twenty-five years old, I still live at home, I didn't finish high school, I don't have a normal job, and my Daddy still has rules for me even though half the time I can't figure out what they are!
I have a round little baby face, braces, a ridiculous number of geeky interests, and a Golden Retriever who probably has more common sense than I do.
I'm a little spoiled.
Okayyyyy, maybe a LOT spoiled!
But I'm happy.
I'm loved.
I'm grateful.
And I'm exactly where I want to be right now. ♡
Not everybody has to follow the same path through life.
Some people spend their twenties building careers and chasing big dreams.
Other people spend their twenties building little radio networks with their dads, playing Grand Theft Auto in the living room, and making silly personal websites that look like they escaped from 1998.
And you know what?
I THINK THAT'S PRETTY AWESOME!!!
This website is my own tiny little space where I can ramble about absolutely anything I feel like.
Pictures, games, gadgets, random thoughts, whatever!
No algorithms telling me what to post. No ridiculous social media nonsense. Just my own little corner of the World Wide Web!
So feel free to look around, enjoy the cute stuff, and maybe come back sometime!
I might update this website tomorrow!
Or next week!
Or I might completely forget it exists for six months because I found something shiny and got distracted!
THAT'S THE EXCITING WORLD OF RADIOFLOOD, BABY!!!
Hehehe! ♡
Be nice to people, give your doggy a hug, and if you're lucky enough to still have your mom around, please give her an extra-big hug while you can. Trust me, those hugs are precious. Don't believe everything you read on the internet, and never let anybody make you feel bad for being a little weird!
And always remember...
LIVE LONG AND PROSPER, NERDS!!! 🖖
Lots of love, hugs, and geeky little kisses!
